Two sloping levels of tired kikuyu rebuilt into one flat, usable lawn for two kids and a dog.
The brief
What they came to us with
The block fell nearly a metre from the back fence to the alfresco, which made half the yard unusable and washed mulch across the paving every winter.
What we did
- Cut and filled to create a single usable lawn terrace
- Limestone block retaining, 600mm, engineered and council approved
- Six-station reticulation upgrade with a Wi-Fi controller
- Sir Walter DNA Certified buffalo, 165m²
- Screening hedge along the neighbour boundary
The result: One flat lawn instead of two unusable slopes, and no more mulch washing onto the paving. On a fortnightly care plan since handover.
